Today Codemasters has confirmed the news was encouraging. They say that they are currently developing several new series of three games of their mainstay.
All three games that have been confirmed will soon be developed sequel was Dirt, Grid and Operation Flashpoint. Unfortunately the Codemasters still would not give more details about the third game which is quite expected, but they say that they are preparing for the third release of the game after they released the F1 2010 coming in September.

In Southam it's full steam ahead with the next iteration in our series Flashpoint, as well as the next Dirt and Grid. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out "
