HP will Serve a New WebOS for Palm

Giant company like Hewlett Packard, are planning to resell the devices using the operating system WebOS, starting with WebOS to rival iPad tablet.

At Mobile
Beat 2010 conference, Phil McKinney, HP chief technology officer, HP revealed a wider plan. He invited the developers to build applications for the WebOS, and said that the company has the scale and resources to sell the device WebOS, both businesses and consumers in the number of hundreds of millions.

Palm HP acquired earlier this year with the aim to develop a device that runs on the Palm operating system WebOS. McKinney has confirmed that HP is developing a variety of mobile devices including tablet or 'Slate', which will run on Palm WebOS system.

HP originally planned to launch a tablet platforms supported by Microsoft Windows 7, but the acquisition of Palm has seen changes in the plan of surgery system for these devices.

"We see Windows has a market segment," said McKinney. However, in the world of mobile device, he said, rather than relying on third-party software, but HP believes that success is by providing their own pleasant experience for the user.
